1st PAT-RN Woman Modula Shirt | White
We all need a crisp white cotton shirt and 1st PAT-RN has developed an absolute weapon of one. The Modula has a loose and flowy silhouette that gives it a really interesting and contemporary feel, so it’s not too slim but also not too oversized. There are so many interesting details such as the shorter cuffs with elegant button loops and a trio of cuff pleats that are subtle but powerful. But the hem is where it’s at. The hem has been cut straight and longer on the back, with side splits for added movement and a dramatic curved front. It’s no ordinary white shirt, and it’s also going to look so good peeping out from under a jacket or knitwear.
The popeline “pelleovo” fabric is made in Japan and is what 1st PAT-RN considers “the very essence of the white shirt”. Named for its smooth and silky feel that recalls the inner surface of an eggshell, it has been faithfully reproduced from an original 1980s fabric. The shirts are garment-washed to give each one a softly textured, refined appearance.
Also available in tailored stripes and fine stripes. While technically this is from the ‘woman’ line, men can size up or check out the round collar version from the men’s line.
Made in Italy
Pelleovo cotton (custom Japanese fabric)
Two patch pockets
Italian buttons
Concealed button placket
Pointed collar
Side slits
Colour: white
Sizing: True to fit (AQ wears size S) but men can size up (size L fits Oisín nicely)

1ST PAT-RN is a clothing brand from the Veneto region of Italy, formed in 2012 by the ever-tasteful duo Cristiano Berto and Silvia Piccin. A brand not concerned about fashion trends, gender or themes, they create beautiful garments that are timeless, functional and wearable. This is a couple that goes granular in detail. Each item is one of deep research, controlled production and thoughtful design, inspired by military, workwear and outdoor garb. Their passion for sifting through vintage markets and collecting all types of products undoubtedly influences every single garment, yet they have a serious talent for making clothes that feel very much in the now.
1ST PAT-RN works directly with local mills in the Veneto region to design and develop exclusive fabrics in limited quantities aligned with their production needs. Everything is made in Italy, from the garment itself right down to the labels, buttons and zippers.
