WORKING x The Ouze Workshop Shirt | Blue

€475.00

The Workshop Shirt is a special collaboration between WORKING and The Ouze.

Taking WORKING’s well known and loved ‘Trap shirt’, this version is pigment-dyed to the most amazing workwear blue colour that’s sure to make your eyes dazzle. The embroidered eyelet tab above the chest pocket is fitted with a hallmarked recycled .925 sterling silver pin handmade by The Ouze, who create contemporary jewellery heirlooms in their London workshop.

The shirt collar is rounded and can happily sit down or full up - the nice cotton poplin gives it enough structure for both positions. It takes its cues from a variety of collars including camp, penny, funnel, club, mandarin, stub and shawl collars.

It’s not every day two niche design brands like this come together to create such a unique and wearable item.

  • Made in England

  • Cotton poplin

  • Hallmarked 6.5cm recycled .925 sterling silver pin handmade in London by The Ouze

WORKING is a collaborative brand by William Kroll (Tender Co.) and Robert Newman (Middle Distance, Massimo Osti Studio, Stone Island and CP Company). Operating from their studios in Glasgow, Scotland, and Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, they combine their distinct approaches to design and production; exploring each other’s perspectives on fabrics, art and design history, uniform construction, and an expanded interpretation of workwear. WORKING garments are crafted in very limited quantities in England and Japan.

Founded by Toby Vernon, The Ouze creates what they refer to as contemporary heirlooms. Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted in London by their small team and is completely unique and one-of-a-kind.

The aesthetic of The Ouze is rooted in Toby's interest in antique and heirloom jewellery that has been passed down through generations and weathered by time. As such, they experiment with alternative jewellery-making processes to develop The Ouze's distinctive signature style, being raw and organic.
