Tender Co. 434 Buggy Back Shirt | Striped

€340.00

The Buggy Back takes its unique shape and name from a British tailoring technique that William initially used in his past for lining casual sports jackets. The back is ‘buggy lined’ with triangles of lining fabric set into the shoulder seams, overlapping at the centre (cleverly showcased by the inverted butcher stripe). There are no side seams - instead the fronts wrap around and overlap into the opposite side’s back armhole. Its large front pockets offer versatility to be worn as a jacket too, layered over a tee or button-down tail shirt. The high back provides easy access to your trouser back pockets. It is woven with a weft stripe of Japanese rope-dyed indigo yarn picks and the pattern for the fabric is taken from traditional British butcher’s aprons.

  • Made in England

  • Japanese rope-dyed indigo yarn picks

  • 100% cotton

  • Lined front

  • Limited quantities

  • Colour: off-white, navy stripe
