Frank Leder Reversible Coat | Brown Teal
What a coat. This reversible number by Frank Leder offers two distinct styles in one garment. One side is burnt orange-brown with an inverted back pleat and a 360° flap inspired by the Kutschermantel of Bavaria (a coachman of old times, delivering beer barrels to the drinking dens). Turn it inside out to reveal a teal-blue reverse with a contrasting front panel and collar. The reversible design came about unexpectedly during the lookbook shoot, when the wearer Rachid turned the coat inside out as a joke, but Frank loved it so much that during production he added buttons inside so you can wear it either way.
Made from Japanese cotton-linen and naturally hand-dyed in small batches near Osaka, the fabric features natural wrinkles and uneven tones that add texture and depth. The coat is finished with raglan sleeves, a single vent and vintage German corozo buttons from the 1930s and 1950s.

Slant and welt pockets
Colour: Burnt orange-brown and teal blue
Sizing advice: runs large, size down
